This matter is being taken up for hearing through video conferencing due to outbreak of the pandemic, COVID-19. This petition has been filed for quashing of order dated 07.08.2020 passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Karnal (Annexure P6) whereby the petitioner has been suspended from the post of Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat Gondar as well as order dated 06.11.2020 (Annexure P10) passed by the Principal Secretary to Government of Haryana, Development and Panchayats Department, Haryana whereby petitioner's appeal challenging abovesaid order OMKAR SINGH 2021.04.05 15:11 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court, Chandigarh
CWP No.19638 of 2020 [2] dated 07.08.2020, has been dismissed.
Learned counsel for the State informs that regular departmental enquiry against the petitioner stands concluded against him and recovery has been directed. A copy of order dated 30.03.2021 has been circulated in the WhatsApp group created for the purpose of video conferencing. Print of the same be taken and attached with the file. It is submitted that the present writ petition is, thus, rendered infructuous.
Learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to deny the same. Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
Needless to say, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge order dated 30.03.2021, in accordance with law.
