1. The prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to regularise the services of the petitioner in the respondentDepartment as also to pay minimum wages for the work, he had done as a sweeper. Concededly, the petitioner is not working as of now. 2.
Respondents in the written statement, mentioned that he was engaged by respondent No.4, i.e. Agriculture Officer, Dera Baba Nanak, District Gurdaspur. Previously, it was the mother of the petitioner, who was engaged, she being Asthma patient, was asked to send her son. Accordingly, the petitioner used to go there and work. He thus, at this stage, on instructions from the petitioner, seeks liberty to substantiate his claim by producing Annexures P-3 and P-4 or any other relevant documents, that may have in his possession, to which learned State counsel has no objection.
4. In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.4, in MOHIT 2025.01.14 09:59 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-24645-2017 (O&M) -2case, petitioner submits a representation within a period of 4 weeks, the same shall be considered and decided, taking note of the aforesaid submissions, within a further period of 6 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon
