***** SUDHIR MITTAL, J. (ORAL) Learned State counsel on instructions from Ms. Harpreet Sandhu, Revenue Patwari, Tehsil Dera Bassi, submits that an entry of mortgage exists in the relevant record. Thus, the application of the petitioner for redemption of the mortgage shall be entertained and decided in accordance with law provided the petitioner files an application for revival thereof.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. The petitioner may file an application for revival within seven days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
