These cases involve similar issues and therefore, are being disposed of together by this common order.

Prayer made in the present petitions is for directing the respondents to complete the process of regularisation, initiated by respondents. 3.
Learned counsel submits that a Committee was formed, headed by Superintending Engineer as Chairman and having three more members, who had given recommendations in favour of the petitioners after verification on 07.11.2019, Annexure P-13, however, till date no action has been taken thereon, despite a representation dated 05.08.2021, Annexure P-14, having been submitted to the Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Rural Development and MOHIT 2025.07.31 15:41 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-19036-2022 (O&M) CWP-19037-2022 (O&M) -2Panchayat, Punjab-respondent No.1. He thus, on instructions prays that a direction may be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner. 4.
Learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made. 5.
In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, these petitions are hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representation dated 05.08.2021 within a period of 6 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to them and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to their interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioners shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon. 6.
