Present petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for seeking pre-arrest bail to the petitioner, namely Satpal Singh alias Sattu in case FIR No. 121 dated 30.05.2017, registered under Section(s) 22 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Kotwali, Kapurthala, District Kapurthala.
The members of the Bar are abstaining from work. As per record available on the file, petitioner, namely Satpal Singh alias Sattu was earlier admitted to regular bail by the learned trial Court vide order dated 05.07.2017 and the matter was being adjourned for awaiting challan. Subsequently, his bail was cancelled on account of his non-appearance before the learned trial Court. Allegation against the petitioner are regarding recovery of five grams of "Alprazolam", which is non-commercial quantity. Notice of motion.

Criminal Misc. No. M-33104 of 2019 stands disposed of with the directions that in case petitioner surrenders before the learned trial Court within a period of one month from today and moves an application for admitting him to bail, the learned trial Judge shall release him on regular bail on his furnishing fresh bail bonds and surety bonds to his satisfaction.
