Learned State counsel has filed a status report by way of affidavit of Rajesh Kumar, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Circle Nabha, District Patiala which is taken on record. As per the status report, till date 75 witnesses have since been examined, 7 witnesses have been given up, 3 witnesses have since expired and 63 remain to be examined. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not wish to pursue the present petition and wants to withdraw the same. He, however, states that vide order dated 29.06.2021 this Court had extended the time for concluding the trial by six months which expires on 29.12.2021 and hence the Trial court be directed to conduct day to day hearing. Heard Since vide order dated 29.06.2021 passed in CRM-17343-2021 in CRM-M-7214-2019 the time for concluding the trial had been extended by a period of six months from the date of order, no further direction is required.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
