Petitioner, who is Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Village Khari Sureran, Tehsil Ellenabad, District Sirsa, was placed under suspension and his appeal is pending before respondent No.1 since 30.07.2018. As per learned counsel for the petitioner, no action is being taken on the appeal, filed by the petitioner and the same is being adjourned without any reason, though petitioner, being an elected Sarpanch, is not being allowed to function.

In view of above, present writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to respondent No.1 to take up and decide the appeal expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
