(Oral) Petitioner is seeking issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to pay him at par with the Clerk as the nature of work and qualification is same to the petitioner, in view of policy/letter dated 03.11.2017 (P-2) and in view of the judgment of Hon'ble the Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal No. 213-2013 titled as State of Punjab and others vs. Jagjit Singh and others.

In this regard, petitioner has given a detailed representation dated 20.02.2018 (P-4) but till date no action has been taken. Issue notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Ms. Nidhi Garg, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the State. Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to supply copy of the petition to the learned State counsel by today itself.
