***** JASPAL SINGH, J Through instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to count the work charge period in the department from 1968 to 1979 in the qualifying service for the purpose of pensionary benefits.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent No.1 to decide legal notice dated 27/28.11.2017 (Annexure P-1), within a stipulated period. 3.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.1-Managing Director, UHBVN Ltd.
