In the present petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondents No.1 and 4 to consider and decide the application (E-Sewa No.53128203) submitted by the petitioner for renewal of the Arms License No.DM/HSP/DUP/MDTW/0116/6 (Annexure P-1) in a time bound manner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to treat the present writ petition as representation and decide the same, in a time bound manner. 3.
