(Oral) The precise grievance of the petitioners is that they were appointed as Lecturers on 15.10.1991 by direct recruitment and seniority list in the cadre of lecturer has not been finalized by the respondent-department. Petitioners were further promoted to the post of Principals on dated 15.09.2008, 13.07.2009 and 24.04.2012. One Kundan Kalra who was junior to the petitioners, as per provisional seniority list of lecturers, was promoted to the post of Principal prior to the petitioners on 20.07.2007.

Similar situated employees filed CWP No 692 of 2015, which was disposed of on 21.10.2015 by this Court with a direction to the respondents to pass a detailed order of the affected person in GAURAV ARORA 2016.02.29 10:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP No. 3662 of 2016 -2accordance with law and subsequently petitioners and others filed their objection which was not considered till date. Petitioners thereafter submitted legal notice dated 29.10.2015 but no action has been taken till date. Learned counsel for the petitioners states, that at this stage, the petitioners will be satisfied, if directions are issued to respondents to decide the legal notice, referred to above. In view of above, without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 29.10.2015 (P-8) of the petitioners by giving the petitioners personal hearing on the objection (P-6) before finalizing the seniority list, in compliance of order dated 21.10.2015 passed in CWP No. 692 of 2015.
