1. Whether Reporters of Local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2. To be referred to the Reporters or not?
3. Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? --- Surya Kant, J. (Oral) Notice of motion.
On our asking, Mr.Rajesh Bhardwaj, learned Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
Let two copies of the writ petition be supplied to learned State counsel during the course of day failing which this order shall be automatically recalled and the writ petition shall be deemed to have been dismissed for non-prosecution. In view of the nature of order which we propose to pass, it is not necessary to seek any counter-reply from the respondent at this stage.
The short grievance of the petitioner is that his appeal No.30 of 2015 titled as Karnail Singh versus Gram Panchayat, which was filed by him in deference to the order MOHINDER KUMAR 2016.02.27 14:46 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
CWP No.3665 of 2016 [2] dated 05.12.2014 passed by this Court in CWP No.9351 of 2014, has been dismissed by respondent No.2 on the ground of delay on 14.08.2015 but no copy of that order has been supplied till date.
Since sufficient time has already passed, we are of the considered view that it is imperative upon respondent No.2 to issue a copy of the appellate order without any further delay. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to supply a copy of the appellate order dated 14.08.2015 to the petitioner within two weeks. Ordered accordingly.
