The petitioner, who appears in person through video conferencing, prays for issuance of direction to the police authorities to register an FIR on the basis of his representation dated 19.05.2025. 2.

If the police fails to register an FIR, the petitioner has a remedy to file a criminal complaint under Sections 175(4) and 210 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. Hence, the petitioner, if so advised, may avail an alternative remedy.
