(Oral) The petitioner has posed a challenged to order dated 11.11.2014, Annexure P-6, whereby candidature of petitioner for allotment of LPG Outlet Distributorship was rejected inter alia on the ground that he did not have Rs.2 lacs in his account on the last of application. At the time of arguments, learned counsel has submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied, if an opportunity of hearing is granted to the petitioner. Admittedly, letter of intent has not been issued till now as this court vide its order dated March 24, 2015, had directed that status quo be maintained.

Mr. Kapoor submits that, in case, petitioner appears before the competent authority within 10 days from today, he shall be afforded an opportunity of hearing and fresh decision shall be taken. Sukhpreet Kaur 2017.08.29 16:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

In view of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction that, in case, the petitioner appears before General Manager (LPG), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Sector 19, Chandigarh, within 10 days from today, he shall be afforded an opportunity of hearing and a fresh decision shall be taken as per Policy within 10 days thereafter. Needless to observe that status quo shall be maintained till then. Order dated 11.11.2014 would not stand in the way of the concerned authority for the purpose of deciding the issue afresh.
