In this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.1 and 2 to take appropriate legal action against the violators, i.e., respondents No.3 to 7 on the basis of representations dated 03.08.2013 (Annexure P-6) and 10.09.2013 (Annexure P-9), who are operating in violation of the Policy Guidelines for Downlinking of Television Channels dated 05.12.2011 (Annexure P-2) and Interconnection Regulations/Rules issued by respondent No.2.
