(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.140, dated 16.07.2021, registered at Police Station Sirhind, District Fatehgarh Sahib, under Sections 341, 342, 323, 506, 427, 148 & 149 IPC (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise dated 31.08.2021 (Annexure P-3). 2.

Pursuant to order dated 22.04.2022, report dated 08.07.2022 has been received from Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Fatehgarh Sahib, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them without any coercion or undue influence.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.140, dated 16.07.2021, registered at Police Station Sirhind, District Fatehgarh Sahib, under Sections 341, 342, 323, 506, 427, 148 & 149 IPC (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners.
