(Oral) The present writ petition filed on behalf of M/s Jalandhar Cable Operator Welfare Society and M/s Punjab Cable Operator Welfare Association, under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia challenging the action of the respondent authorities in issuing the multiple show cause notices on the same cause of action to different parties. 2.

From the perusal of the record, it is discernible that the petitioners had approached this Court on an earlier occasion by way of CWP No. 12179 of 2015 and vide order dated 04.06.2015, this Court had directed the respondents to consider and decide the representation, which was submitted by the petitioners to them. However, the respondents have failed to comply with the order dated 04.06.2015 passed by this Court. Consequently, the petitioners had filed COCP No.3259 of 2015, in which notice of motion has been issued for 30.05.2016. 3.

After arguing for sometime and in the light of the aforesaid fact, learned counsel for the petitioners states that he may be allowed to JAWALA RAM 2016.03.29 16:33 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No. 3720 of 2016 - 2 - withdraw the present writ petition at this stage with liberty to the petitioners to approach this Court again as and when occasion arises. 4.

Dismissed as withdrawn. It shall, however, be open to the petitioners to take recourse to remedies as may be available to them in accordance with law.
