Mr. Kartik Gupta, Advocate, for respondents No.6 and 7. PARAMJEET SINGH, J. (ORAL) Instant writ petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for quashing the order dated 30.03.2012 (Annexure P-13) passed by respondent No.2 - Director, Village Development and Panchayat Department, Punjab, whereby the allegations against respondent No.6 have been held to be not proved and order of his suspension has been revoked. Further prayer in the writ petition is for making recovery of the old-age pension from respondents No.6 and 7 in view of the provisions of Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

-2Civil Writ petition No.6771 of 2013 At the outset, learned counsel for respondents No.6 and 7 made a statement that their term is already over, thus, present writ petition has become infructuous and there is no question of passing any order. In view of the contention of learned counsel for respondents No.6 and 7 that their term has already expired, qua first prayer the writ petition has become infructuous. Ordered accordingly. So far as the recovery proceedings are concerned, petitioners will be at liberty to pursue the matter before the competent authority in accordance with law. The authority shall take action as per the provisions of law. Disposed of.
