Present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short 'BNSS') for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in a complaint bearing No.COMI 65 dated 27.8.2019 under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 of IPC wherein the petitioner was summoned to face trial vide order dated 6.5.2025. 2.
On 16.6.2025, following order was passed by this Court: 'Counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that the complaint made by the petitioner on 27.05.2019 did not result into registration of an FIR, subsequently the petitioner has been summoned in a private criminal complaint & the petitioner is willing to appear before the concerned trial Court and face trial in accordance with law.

On the strength of advance notice; Mr. Adhiraj Singh, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent No.1-State of Punjab. List on 29.07.2025.

CRM-M No.32506 of 2025 -2In the meanwhile, it is directed that in case the petitioner surrenders before the concerned trial Court on or before 17.07.2025 (the next date stated to be fixed before the trial Court) he shall be admitted to interim bail to satisfaction of such Court.'

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has brought to the notice of this court a copy of the order dated 17.7.2025, whereby the petitioner has appeared before the concerned Court and was granted bail as directed by this Court vide order dated 16.6.2025. 4.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and upon perusal of the record, this Court deems it appropriate to confirm the interim bail order passed on 16.6.2025, subject to the petitioner continuing to appear before the trial Court and cooperate for expeditious disposal of the trial accordingly.
