The petitioner seeks issuance of a direction to respondent No.2 to protect his life and liberty as he apprehends threat to the same at the hands of respondents No.4 to 10.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, District Patiala to look into the matter and to get the representation dated Nil (Annexure P-4) examined qua the alleged threat perception of the petitioner.
