Status report filed by the respondent State is taken on record. 2.

Learned counsel representing State confirms that petitioner has already join the investigation. No recovery is effected from the petitioner and he is not required for any other purpose. 3.

Earlier in pursuance of order dated 09.08.2024 petitioner was granted interim bail. Relevant part of the order runs as under: >In the meantime, in case petitioner is arrested, he be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of Arresting Officer/Investigating Officer subject to condition that petitioner will join investigation as and when required. He will not tamper with or interfere with investigation and will not leave the country without prior permission as provided under Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023."

Recovery was effected from co-accused and he was named in disclosure statement. Since the petitioner has already joined the investigation and he is not required for any other purpose, no purpose would be served by sending the petitioner behind the bars, therefore, interim bail already granted vide order dated 09.08.2024 stands confirmed subject to the same terms and conditions.
