The petitioner seeks an order directing the respondents to remove the barbed wire fencing around a plot of land admeasuring about 250 sq. yards, contending that the same had been released by the respondents in favour of his predecessor-in-title. The release letter relied upon is of the year 1992. From the record, it is not clear as to whether the respondents have acquired any right in respect of the disputed portion of land and whether the petitioner and/or his predecessor-in-title have lost their rights, if any, in respect thereof for any reason.

It is necessary, therefore, in the first instance, for the respondents to respond to the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2015 (Annexure P-5). Depending upon the reply, it would be open to the petitioner to adopt appropriate proceedings for the redressal of his grievances, if any.
