***** JASPAL SINGH, J (ORAL) By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant interest @ 18% per annum on the delayed retiral dues as he retired on 31.01.2016 while he was given contributory provident fund (own share of `13,93,836) on 10.10.2016, (board share of `15,43,220/-) on 30.06.2017, gratuity of `10,00,000/- on 22.09.2017 and leave encashment of `6,43,106/- on 22.09.2017.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent(s) to decide the representation dated 23.09.2017 (Annexure P-8) within a stipulated period. 3.

Randhawa vs. State of Punjab, 1997 (3) RSJ 318, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved of the order passed by the concerned authority, he shall be at liberty to approach this Court.
