(Oral) The petitioner, while in the service of Haryana Civil Services (Judicial Branch), was served with the impugned charge-sheet dated 30.05.2012 containing four allegations, as explained in the Article of Charges. Thereafter, he has been compulsorily retired from service. The enquiry proceedings, we are informed, are however, still going on. The petitioner has raised various pleas to urge that neither the charge-sheet could be issued in respect of a matter which already stood closed on administrative or judicial side, nor the Inquiry Officer ought to proceeded further, especially in the light of the fact that the very foundation of the charge-sheet is also now non-existent, namely, the complainant has filed an affidavit that he does not want to pursue his complaint and does not want to appear before the Inquiry Officer to support the allegations. CWP No.5925 of 2014 [2] In our considered view, all the contentions raised by the petitioner in this writ petition can be effectively considered by the Inquiry Officer in accordance with law at the appropriate stage. We have no reason to doubt that the Inquiry Officer shall consider the material relied upon by the petitioner, objectively and in a dispassionate manner. With these directions, observations and liberty, the writ petition is disposed of.
