ANIL KSHETARPAL, J(Oral) The petitioners are working as the Data Entry Operators in the Economic and Statistical Organization. They pray for direction to the respondents to provide a promotional channel to the data entry operators. The learned counsel representing the State of Punjab has submitted that the State Directorate of Statistics, Punjab (Group B), Service Rules, 2023 have been notified on 24.02.2023. He submits that the data entry operators have been granted promotion to the post of the Assistant Research Officer as per item no.2 of Appendix B of the aforesaid rules. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the writ petition is rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such.

All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, are also disposed of.
