IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH

CWP No.476 of 2015 Date of Decision: 13.01.2015 Surjit Singh (Retd.) C.H.T.

..... Petitioner

Versus

State of Punjab and others ..... Respondents CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJIV NARAIN RAINA

Present:

Mr. Sunny Singla, Advocate, for the petitioner.

1. To be referred to the Reporters or not?

2. Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? RAJIV NARAIN RAINA, J.(Oral) Grant of notional benefit of pay w.e.f. 1993 takes away only right to arrears but brings an employee on parity with his erstwhile colleagues and, therefore, makes no difference to pension. The petitioner retired in 2012. The claim is not for arrears of money. Even if such a question arose it would be hit by the bar of limitation.

I find no ground to exercise writ jurisdiction in this matter. Dismissed.
