Mr. Harish Nain, AAG, Haryana **** RITU BAHRI , J. (Oral) The present petition has been filed for quashing result dated 01.09.2018 (P-5).
On 13.09.2018, this Court passed the following order:- "Learned counsel submits that the petitioner applied against the post of Conductor, pursuant to advertisement dated 18.05.2017 and as per answer key uploaded on the website, he has secured 106 marks in the written examination. The candidate i.e Rohtash Singh, Roll No. 4720055128 who was called for scrutiny of documents secured 88 marks but the petitioner has not been called for scrutiny of documents. The respondent has not declared the cut off marks of the last candidate in the result dated 01.09.2018. The petitioner gave representation dated 04.09.2018 which was received by the respondent vide Diary No. 6958.

On asking of the Court, Ms. Nidhi Garg, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the State. Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to supply copy of the petition to the learned GAURAV ARORA 2020.01.23 10:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

In the meantime, the respondents shall call the petitioner for scrutiny of documents which are starting from 15.09.2018 to 19.09.2018.
Learned State counsel shall also get instructions on the next date of hearing that why the respondent has not declared cut of marks of the last candidate."
Today, learned State counsel has produced the result of the petitioner in the Court and the same has been opened by the Reader of this Court. As per result, the petitioner has secured total 118 marks (106 marks in written examination and 12 marks in viva voce) and the last candidate under OSP-General category has secured 171 marks. Thus the petitioner has secured lesser marks than the last candidate. Dismissed.
