(Oral) The petitioners have approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to grant one and half months time to the petitioners, so that they can cut their wheat crops standing on the acquired land.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners have started cutting the crop and the possession of the vacant land shall be handed over to the respondents immediately after 15th April, 2016 without creating any hindrance. The aforesaid submissions has also been accepted by the learned counsel for the respondents.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the present writ petition has become infructuous, and pray that the same may be disposed of as such.
