Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to respondent No.1 to dispose of the appeal, which is pending with respondent No.1Financial Commissioner-cum-Principal Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayat, Haryana since 27.08.2018 and petitioner is duly elected Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Village Chakkan, Block Rania, District Sirsa. More so, in both the inquiries against him, petitioner was held to be innocent and still respondents are insisting him to handover the charge of the post of Sarpanch on the basis of earlier allegations which have been disproved otherwise.

Civil Writ Petition No. 23401 of 2018 General, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. A complete copy of paper-book be provided to him during the course of the day. In view of above, present writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to respondent No.1-Financial Commissioner-cum-Principal Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayat, Haryana to dispose of the appeal, pending with him, expeditiously and preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. Meanwhile, petitioner shall not be asked to handover the charge of the post of Sarpanch.
