State of Haryana and others .............Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE JASWANT SINGH Present:- Mr.PS Jammu,Advocate for the petitioner Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) One of the legal representatives of big land owner-Smt.Ram Ditti has filed the present writ petition challenging the order dated 28.8.1996 whereby the order dated 22.2.1985(P-1) passed by the prescribed authority(SDO(Civil) was restored by setting aside the order dated 23.1.1991 passed by the Collector,Sirsa and the order dated 16.10.1992 passed by Commissioner setting aside the order dated 22.2.1985(P-1) passed by the prescribed authority. It is apparent from the perusal of order P-1 that the case of big land owner Smt.Ram Ditti was considered under the Punjab Security of Land Tenures Act,1953 and land in her ownership was declared surplus area.

Petitioner- Kewal Krishan by asserting that he was adopted son of Smt.Ram Ditti, an effort was made by big land owner to get the surplus area redetermined under the Haryana Ceiling RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2015.07.29 15:08 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh.

CWP 4812/2015(O&M) 2 of Land Holdings Act,1972 which was declined vide order dated 22.2.1985.

At the time of hearing,learned counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to pursue his remedy in accordance with law.
