(Oral) Petitioners are seeking direction to the respondent authorities to grant pay/pension scale to them in parity with the pay/pension scale of their counterparts in the Government Colleges. Similar situated persons had approached this Court by way of CWP No. 5492 of 1997, decided on 20.11.2013.

In this regard, the petitioners have issued legal notice dated 29.01.2016 (Annexure P-9) to the respondents but no decision has been taken thereon.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states, that at this stage, the petitioners will be satisfied, if directions are issued to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 29.01.2016 (Annexure P-9), referred to above.
