In light of the reply filed by the State Authorities, the petitioners do not press the present petition, as another FIR has been lodged against petitioner No. 2 by imposing the provisions of POCSO Act, 2012. 2.

Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of with a direction to the State Authorities to take appropriate action against petitioner No. 2 and also the Granthi, who had performed the marriage of minor, for which the State Authorities have already issued a letter vide letter No. 91111/Liti-B dated 03.10.2023 to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur.
