Learned counsel for petitioner submits that without touching the property dispute between the parties, he confines his submissions only for direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala to look into the threat to the life and liberty of petitioner at the hands of private respondents. It is also submitted that regarding property and other dispute civil litigation between the parties is pending in the court.

In view of the submissions of learned counsel for petitioner, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala to look into the grievances as put forth by learned counsel for the petitioner, verify the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to petitioner from any action taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated/pending against him in accordance with law.
