(Oral) The petitioner alleges that shamlat land measuring about 50 acres which vests in Gram Panchayat of his village, was earlier under illegal possession of the encroachers who were lawfully dispossessed in execution of eviction orders but they have again encroached upon the said land. Reference is made to the complaints made by the District Magistrate Patiala to Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala (P-3 & P-4) wherein the details of encroachers and the area re-occupied by them is mentioned. The petitioner thus seeks action against the encroachers.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the nature of relief sought, however without expressing any views on merits of the allegations contained in the writ petition or the documents appended thereto, we MOHINDER KUMAR 2016.03.03 14:07 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
