The petitioners have approached this Court seeking quashing of FIR No.15 dated 28.01.2015 registered at Police Station Sadar Jalandhar, District Jalandhar City, under Sections 324, 148, 149, 506 IPC and all subsequent proceedings emanating therefrom on the ground that the matter has been amicably compromised amongst the parties. 2.

Vide order dated 22.08.2019, the parties had been directed to appear before the Area Magistrate/trial Court so as to get their statements recorded qua the factum of compromise. However, statements have not been recorded till date, as the parties did not appear before the Court concerned for the same.
