Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to conduct elections of Panch after the death of Smt. Seema, ExPanch of ward No. 6, who died on 01.12.2017 and as per rules, fresh elections are required to be held within a period of two months. In this regard, repeated requests were made to respondent No.3-Deputy Commissioner, Karnal including representation dated 01.08.2018 (Annexure P5) and the same remained undecided.

Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Pankaj Mulwani, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 5 & 7. A complete copy of paper-book be provided to Mr. Mulwani during the course of the day.
