(oral) This petition is filed seeking mandamus directing respondents No. 1 to 3 to hand over investigation of the case FIR No. 57 dated 18.03.2014 registered under Sections 302/120-B IPC at Police Station GRP Ludhiana, to an independent agency. The respondents have filed reply alleging that allegations made in the FIR have already been investigated and no offence has been made out against the accused and a cancellation report has been submitted to the Illaqa Magistrate, which has not been accepted and the Illaqa Magistrate has ordered for reinvestigation of the same.

In view of the above, present petition is hereby disposed of at this stage.
