Learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 2 submits that present petition has been rendered infructuous as team which was sent for the event i.e. Asian Para Games, 2018 is now over. Mr. Arora has pointed out that selection was made by the concerned authority in an arbitrary manner despite the fact that name of the petitioner was forwarded by respondent no. 7. It was dropped at the last moment without assigning any reason.

Mr. Goel assures the court that matter shall be looked into by respondent no. 1 and if required necessary directions shall be issued to the concerned authority to lay down proper guidelines within four months. In view of above, no further adjudication of the matter is necessary. Petition is hereby disposed.
