This is petition seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioner and his family members and also for direction to respondents to initiate appropriate action in case bearing FIR No.91 dated 12.04.2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 365, 201 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code at Police Station Maloya, Chandigarh. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh to look into representation (Annexure P-2) of petitioner, verify the factum of threat to his life and liberty and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
