(Oral) The controversy in this case pertains to rejection of the petitioner's claim for regularization of an unauthorized marriage palace constructed in village Chahar Majra, Mullanpur, Tehsil and District SAS Nagar Mohali (now known as New Chandigarh). The matter was argued at length on 11.08.2015. However, learned counsel for the petitioner sought adjournment to have fresh instructions. Learned counsel for the petitioner now seeks to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to re-submit her claim before the respondent-authorities by way of a comprehensive representation so that she may make out a case of granting permission/regularization of the marriage palace at the subject site.

If the petitioner submits such a representation within two weeks, it is directed that status-quo re: demolition shall be maintained till 30.11.2015 but the petitioner shall not be permitted to run any commercial activities at the site. The Competent Authority is directed to decide that representation well before 30.11.2015 in accordance with law/policy.
