Petitioner was serving as Superintendent Grade II and was transferred from Hoshiarpur to Sidhwan Canal Division,Ludhiana vide order dated 21.6.2018 (P-3) passed by Water Resources Department in place of Waryam Ram. He has impugned his subsequent transfer vide order dated 16.7.2018 (P-5) back to Hoshiarpur.

Upon notice, State counsel has produced a copy of order dated 8.10.2018 whereby the petitioner has been permitted to continue at his place of posting at Sidhwan Canal Division,Ludhiana. In view of the above,counsel for the petitioner concedes that the instant writ petition has become infructuous. Disposed of accordingly.
