(Oral) Grievance of the petitioner is that election of Workers' Union has not been held despite lapse of three years. Circular dated 10.08.2018, Annexure P-4, issued by the Management extending the term of Workers' Union on ad hoc basis, is arbitrary.

Mr. Mahajan, learned counsel for Management submits that the issue has to be decided by the Central Labour Commission (CLC). He further submits that a reminder shall be sent to Central Labour Commission to take a decision on the issue expeditiously. In view of statement made by him, no further direction is necessary at this stage. It is, however, made clear that Central Labour Commission would take a considered decision on the matter at the earliest, in any case, not later than three months. Disposed of.
