Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that they are living in a live-in relationship against the wishes of the mother and relatives of petitioner No.1 and on account of this act on their part, they are under threat of being eliminated at the hands of respondents No. 4 to 7. In view of the above, seeking protection, a representation dated 12.11.2020 (Annexure P3) was made on behalf of the petitioners to the Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar (Mohali), but to no avail.

In the above circumstances, the petitioners have approached this Court through the present petition.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar (Mohali) (respondent No.2) to forthwith consider the aforesaid representation dated 12.11.2020 (Annexure P-3) made on behalf RAVINDER SINGH 2020.11.19 18:31 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
