The prayer in the present writ petition is for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.1 to 8 to implement the order of eviction dated 30.09.2025 passed by the learned City Magistrate & Assistant Collector 1st Class, Sonipat under Section 7 of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961. 2.
Notice of motion to respondent Nos.1 to 6-State only. 3.
Mr. Saurabh Mago, DAG Haryana accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 6-State only. Learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 to 6State has pointed out that an affidavit has been filed in IOIN-1-CWP-50962025 in CWP-5096-2025 wherein vide circular letter dated 04.05.2026 specific timelines have been framed for disposal of such like matters. It is further stated that the said timelines would be adhered to in the present case also subject to any appeal or stay having been granted by the higher authorities.
