(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of Certiorari, for quashing the impugned notification dated 03.06.2003 (Annexure P-1), recovery notices dated 05.12.2014 (Annexure P-2), 13.02.2015 (Annexure P-4), Show Cause Notice dated 13.02.2015 (Annexure P-5) and Final Show Cause Notice dated 19.06.2018 (Annexure P-7), whereby, the petitioner was called upon to deposit the previous self assessment tax arrears. A writ of Mandamus has also been sought to direct the respondents to waive off the undue interest which is levied on the petitioner.

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to take recourse to the alternative remedies as may be available to it, in accordance with law.
