*** ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) The hearing of the case was held through video conferencing on account of restricted functioning of the Courts. Through this petition, the petitioners pray for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct respondent No.1 to decide the petition under Section 208(k) of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994. In essence, the petitioners pray that action be taken against the elected representatives of gram panchayat.

Learned State counsel has stated that a regular inquiry against the elected representative has been concluded and the competent authority shall pass an appropriate order within a period of 15 days. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, no further order is required to be passed.

Disposed of.

All the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, are also disposed of.
