The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, for issuing a writ of certiorari for quashing the order dated 23.04.2020, 20.07.2021 (Annexures P1 & P2) and directing the respondents to release/de-freeze the DA in view of the law laid down in WP (MD) No.13810 of 2020 (Kanyakumari District Central Coop. Bank Ltd. vs. State of Tamil Nadu & Anr.) decided on 01.02.2023 (Annexure P4), along with interest @ 12% p.a.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that they will be satisfied in case a direction is issued to the official respondents to decide the legal notice dated 15.03.2026 (Annexure P6).
