 1 (#2) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 0074 dated 19.05.2023 registered under Sections 363, 376 and 506 IPC and Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 at Police Station Dayalpura, District Bathinda.

Mr. Nirmal Singh Sidhu, Advocate puts in appearance and files his power of attorney to appear on behalf of the complainant which is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Kashmir Singh, Police Station Dayalpura, District Bathinda submits that the petitioner has been arrested and challan has been presented. However, charges are yet to be framed and the next date fixed before the trial Court is 12.04.2024. Accordingly, the present petition is rendered infructuous.
