Through the instant petition, as instituted under Section 482 of the B.N.S.S., the petitioner seeks the concession of anticipatory bail, in case FIR No.191 dated 20.05.2025, under Section 20(A) of the N.D.P.S. Act, 1985, and, Section 61 of The Punjab Excise Act, 1914 (Haryana Amendment Bill, 2020), registered at P.S. City Tohana, District Fatehabad.

In pursuance of the order dated 16.06.2025, today the learned State counsel has filed a status report dated 22.06.2025, on affidavit of Mr. Umed Singh, H.P.S., Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tohana, District Fatehabad, which is taken on record. Perusal of the status report reveals that, the petitioner is involved in five more criminal cases, which includes an FIR, registered under the N.D.P.S. Act, in December 2024. 3.
In view of the petitioner's criminal antecedents, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the instant petition, DEVINDER YADAV 2025.06.26 12:14 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CRM-M-32516-2025 however, with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the learned trial Court concerned and to make an application for bail before the latter, which may be directed to be decided expeditiously. 4.

Consequently, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn, however, with liberty to the petitioner to, within 10 days from today, surrender before the learned trial Court concerned, and thereupon, if he makes an application before the latter for grant of bail, the latter shall decide the same within two days, but, after affording opportunity of hearing to the opposite party.
