The petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus to direct the authorities in the Local Government Department, Punjab to take final action on the basis of enquiry report dated 16.07.2015 (P4) said to have been submitted by the Chief Vigilance Officer of that Department.

According to the petitioner, consequential action is required to be taken by the competent authority so as to give effect to the above-stated fact-finding report submitted by the Chief Vigilance Officer.

The petitioner is said to have raised such an issue vide representation dated 26.11.2015 (P6).
